As a person in marriage enrichment, I see all the time young couples who feel entitled to the strong marriages that their parents have, but are unwilling to put in the hard work it takes to make it happen. They feel that they deserve a big house, well behaved children, peace and contentment, and secure finances, but seem to forget that you must invest before you reap the benefits. Well said article.
