Today, we honor our military.
We are grateful for their ultimate sacrifice. I get to sleep in a warm bed each night, and you do too, because many Americans lost their lives on distant shores. I get to worship in a church I love because Americans fought in thick jungles. I get to vote because Americans said NO to evil in far off places on the globe.
Their brave actions are connected to the freedom we enjoy.
Join me, in quiet gratitude today, for the men and women of our fine military.
